"Patient safety begins at the beginning of life": when the Est-Var hospital raises awareness among young and old

The intercommunal hospital center is raising awareness among the population about risk prevention and welcomed visitors and health professionals on Thursday, September 18, in order to better inform them about the various dangers to avoid, from birth, and perhaps trigger awareness.

Using educational and gaming accessories, quizzes, and fun challenges, the dynamic teams from the various departments offered stands on infection prevention, hygiene, endocrine disruptors, quality and risk management, vaccination, and more. Maternity and pediatric specialists presented a cradle of errors, asking questions about behaviors to avoid and good practices for infants.

The local hospital is increasing its efforts and is expecting a large number of volunteers for a blood drive next Tuesday, from 12 to 5 p.m., in the multipurpose room.
